University of Deusto

The University of Deusto is committed to promoting research within the framework of academic excellence which has been set as a goal. The promising project Aristos Campus Mundus 2015 (ACM 2015) establishes a plan that includes improvements and higher levels of excellence in the fields of education, research, knowledge transfer, internationalization, the transformation of the campus and its interaction with local and global environments.

In turn, this project is part of a broader cooperation with two other Spanish universities, the University of Comillas and Ramon Llull University as well as three American universities; Georgetown University, Boston College and Fordham University. Within the Aristos Campus Mundus project, their collaborative activity is particularly related to R+D+I around a series of focus areas that are based on I+D+i activities in order to set up a multidisciplinary action strategy that has a clear impact on society.
 
Deusto Advanced Research Centre (DARC) and Deusto International Research School (DIRS) are Among the DCM 2015 key actions. These entities have been established to promote, coordinate and develop research excellence and within this framework Deusto will improve its scientific and policy transfer.

Our commitment to research and innovation, being quality and excellence the starting point, is what encourages the entire university community to extend the frontiers of knowledge and put the results in it the service of society.
